This is made for a lovely family joining together in their lively kitchen. That's why we decided on dying with kitchen waste material, onion skin. They, their neighbors, my sister and myself ate a lot of onions!
Their wish was to see the family somehow reflected in the artwork.

Dyes: onion skin, madder, gold foil
